September 2011 Feel called to adopt

October 2011 Attend foster care meetings

March 2012 After much prayer attend a one on one foster care meeting that results in the doors being closed due to scheduling conflicts.

March 3rd Find One World Adoption Services and apply to the DR Congo program

March 19th Accepted to the DR Congo program

March 30th First Home study meeting with A Child's Dream Of Nevada

April 11th Second Home study meeting, turned in large packet of documents

April 17th Background checks cleared

May 2nd Final home study meeting

May 11th Rough Draft of Home Study sent

May 21st Home Study Finalized

May 21st Put on referral list

May 24th Mail our Dossier packet to One World Adoptions and mail our I-600a paperwork.

June 2nd Receive Form I-797C stating our immigration paperwork has been received and we are now waiting for our biometrics appointment.ncy

June 26th 1600a appointment

July 2nd I-171h letter arrived, we are aproved by USCIS to proceed with adoption!!

July 7th Get an e-mail about waiting twin girls

July 8th Twin girls God?! Okay, if you're sure! Joyfully accept referral!

July 19th Receive news that we lost the referral of the twins.

July 23rd Pray about a waiting child in a different country.

September 19th Recieve home study addendum and pay fees for the referral of Big E.

October 17th Book tickets to visit

November 6th Leave for Africa

November 8th Meet Big E. for the first time

November 14th leave for Home
